As Jack read the poll results, he could tell that Ryan was becoming very upset. He was finally realizing that nobody in the office much cared for him.
Jack looked down and read, "Nope." Ryan's head fell with the weight of grief, his eyes swimming with pent-up tears. Frustrated, Jack decided that enough was enough.
"Alright, does anyone here want Ryan to, you know..." said Jack with exasperation. Everyone shook their heads slightly. Though they were ashamed to openly admit it, each had voted in the negative.
"Ach, fine, here," grunted Jack, grabbing a pen and beginning to write. The room was silent for the duration of Jack's labors, which were further delayed by the pen running dry. Finally Jack finished writing and looked at the finished product:
"I want you to live.
