Newspaper Slaying

   Jack ran to the edge of a narrow gully in the sparse forest.  Looking down, he saw the blocky newspaper cube that was assaulting one of the villagers as the others looked helplessly from the sidelines.  Jack fired a gun at the beast, followed in rapid succession by an arrow and a throwing knife, before jumping down on top of the newspaper cube's back.  The attack knocked the cube over, allowing Jack to quickly slay it and begin to rip it into strips.  Now that the danger was over, the villagers walked slowly inward to observe.
